Jose (Bilbao, Spain – Jan. 30th, 1981) is a Corporate Finance | M&A Partner at PwC. He leads the Retail & Consumer sector within the firm’s Deals division and is PwC’s Subject Matter Expert for the Tuna industry.

After spending 7 years at PwC in London and Madrid, he joined Frinsa, one of the largest tuna canneries in Europe, as Head of Strategy and Business Development initially but then became its Chief Corporate Officer.

He rejoined PwC in September 2015 as the Corporate Finance leader for the Food & Beverage industry. Jose has been involved in some of the most relevant M&A transactions that have taken place during the last 5 years in the tuna space and currently advises some of the largest global seafood players.

Jose holds a Law Degree from Universidad Complutense of Madrid, a MBA from IE Business School and a General Management Program from IESE Business School.

He is a lecturer at IEB, the leading official center in the field of financial training in Spain, on topics such as Mergers & Acquisitions, Private Equity and Acquisition & Structured Finance.

Jose is married and has three children.
