Eduardo Enrique Carles Pérez earned his degree in Industrial Engineering at the University Santa María La Antigua, in Panama.
Between 2010 and 2015, Carles worked at SENAVEN, S.A., where he was in charge of the launching, and initial development of business systems and processes for logistics and department integration.
Carles collaborated with Kimberly Clark South America in the MORFEO project, regarding logistic distribution in Panama.
He worked as a Commercial Manager at Barraza y Compañía, managing wholesale sales, contracting channels and dealing with the following brands: SIP, SPUM, AMERICANO. At a national level, he was responsible for the restructuring of the National logistics platform.
He also took on the role of Sales and Operation Manager at Productos Alimenticios, responsible for contracts, production improvement and new product development. He is currently a shareholder and is in charge of implementing any identity changes in both products and corporation, financial analysis, operation costs and budget supervision.
On July 1st 2016 he started his role as Minister for Agricultural Development in Panama, collaborating in any activities that allow the country to develop the national agricultural industry.
