Gustavo Núñez Márquez, from Quito (Ecuador), is the Founder of Asiservy S.A., and has brought the spirit of cooperative work, perseverance and sacrifice into the firm’s production. He has also displayed huge enthusiasm in conducting and expanding the firm in crisis environments, even as strong as conditions that hit Ecuador in 2004. He holds 12 years of experience in the sector. As the Founder and President of Asiservy S.A., he said that the company is “now leaving childhood to enter youth and then reach total maturity."

Núñez is an Economics graduate from Pontifical Catholic University in Quito and has a masters education in Financial Management, obtained in Belgium. After finishing his studies, he worked as an Administrative Manager, Director of Internal Marketing and Assistant Manager at Cepe (Corporación Estatal Petrolera Ecuatoriana) until 1988. After that, he started working at Cemento Nacional (now known as Holcim) where he was in charge of Industrial Relations. After spending around 10 years working within private businesses, Núñez decided to start his own company, Asiservy S.A, in Manta in 1997.
