Cynthia Asaf has extensive experience trading sustainable wild-caught, FAD-free tuna in several markets worldwide, which has allowed her to gain an in-depth understanding of the global demand for Eco-labeled tuna. Cynthia has been instrumental in the execution of several projects such as the joint venture with the PNA office to market MSC certified tuna in Europe, Australia and the Americas. She has been working with Sustunable bv since 2011 and holds a degree in International Business and Commerce from Universidad Del Norte, in Colombia.

Sustunable is a pioneer in the supply of responsibly caught tuna worldwide. It sources its tuna from only responsibly or sustainably managed tuna fisheries with practices that can be maintained indefinitely, without reducing the tuna’s ability to preserve the healthy state of its population and the overall marine eco-system around it.

In 2010 Sustunable was invited by the 8 PNA island nations in the Pacific Ocean to become their joint venture partner to create the marketing company Pacifical cv.
